1. What does "full bore" mean for this valve, and why does it matter for slurry service?
A full bore design keeps the internal flow path the same diameter as the connecting pipe with no obstruction when open, which is what prevents slurries and other external material from building up inside the valve cavity — a reduced-bore valve creates ledges and pockets where solids can accumulate instead of passing straight through.

2. How does the sealing face resist erosion better than in other valve types?
The design keeps the sealing face out of the direct flow path except during the brief moment of opening or closing, which limits its exposure to the abrasive wear that a continuously flow-exposed seal in other valve types would experience.

3. Manual or actuated — which operation type should I choose?
